home cooking day

Haven’t been cooking at home for a while.
The thing that came across my mind early in the morning
was I decided to cook for myself. To be honest, I’m not a good cook.
If I am still in Malaysia now, probably I am still a little girl that
was protected by the family. I seriously grew up becoming more
independent and mature. Living alone in another country is not
an easy task. It could be a problem when it comes to cooking.
I can be seriously fed up sometimes because I have to cook for
small portion and not too much of dishes. That’s why I prefer
eating with friends, I can order as much as I can haha.

I first went to Day In and grab some instant noodles.
Couldn’t survive without instant noodles, it is so fast a
nd convenience. I won’t feel like cooking everyday,
instant noodles make my life easier. Enjoy doing shopping in
Day In and Tesco. For Asian food, Day In is superb and I will
normally get some daily food in Tesco. Vegetables and fruits
and fresh, the prices are not too bad. Some can be
expensive but they do have promotions like 2 for £5 or etc.
Once I am doing my grocery shopping, I will buy for a
week but not more than that. I don’t keep food inside the refrigerator.
Unless, I am really pressure in assignments, I will definitely
cook all the time. Feeling hungry when I am stress.

Friday night at Dragon BBQ

Friday is the best day among the entire week.
Best thing to do is hanging out with friends.
We really enjoy fine dining but it must be affordable and
taste good. So, we decided to pay a visit to
Dragon BBQ which is located at Five Ways.
This is not the first time being there,
enjoy the food especially BBQ…..my favourite :)

The reason I love to pay for buffet is I get what I like to eat.
I don’t have to ask permission, best thing is the freedom to eat anything
I want. The food over here is really good. I realized that English
and Black people do enjoy coming to this restaurant for f
unctions and celebrations. It was so nice looking at them enjoying
Asian food. I really admired people that are trying others cultures
and cuisines. They seemed to have more knowledge and
I shall say they know how to respect other better.

Oh, and the waiters over here are pretty kind and serving good.
The restaurant’s manager is from my country and so
we were able to interview him for some extra information
about the restaurant.
A very nice guy that is willing to help.

The Friday night ended pretty warmed and satisfied........
